I really wanted to get E and V a light table last year for Christmas, but then I saw the prices and how much space they would take up, so we went a slightly different route.

Rather than getting a light table, with that being its only purpose, I decided to DIY one using a few items we already had with an additional, easy-to-store part, when not in use.

What we needed:

-Ikea Flisat table, or similar table (as Ikea is frequently out of stock).

–Chargeable light. This is the one we have had since E and V were little, for nappy changes, and it’s still one of the best purchases we made.

–Acrylic insert. You could make yours, but due to my abilities, I was fortunate to find one that was already cut and ready to use.

And that’s it.
